  • A poor start to the day on Great Coum (too windy, then too light and wind went off to north).  Eventually (after several attempts) got a climb out from the small N face steps. Day now looking superb - low save on moor below to nearly 6000'.

  • 25k  out from launch ... it seemed a good idea to try to ride the SB back to take off.

  • Heading back ... and needing maybe two more good climbs. This is into wind too ... a light NE has set up  this side of the SB.

  • Got a slow climb above Ingleton ... at least one more required but sky doesn't look promising.  Got partway into Kingsdale before turning back to land at the Mason's. Nearly made it.
