Clouds were few and far between. Here is the only one I managed to actually dabble with. Base was around 4,400'
Not a huge amount of height to cross the Dales high ground with.
Looking back uptrack towards the NW.
Grimwith Reservoir
Lots of high cloud, quite shaded and distant cumulus.
A lot better to the SE .... or at least more sun on the ground.

Can't beat a large open park, cut grass and free of droppings to land in.
