My ' grassy knoll' - the wind felt ok here, but further down the ridge it seemed to improve also. This take off would stuff my flight later.
The ridge soon began to work well ... and was soon full of gliders

Great clouds to the north ... very tempting to head that way.
Nearing cloudbase over the north end of Great Whernside.
Heading south looked OK too.
Couldn't clear the highest tree!
